About how many panels?

What Arizona throws at your panels

  • Haboobs: fine desert dust dropped in a single afternoon
  • Monsoon storms: rain that turns dust into a baked-on mud film
  • Spring pollen: a sticky layer that traps more dust
  • Hard water: mineral spots from sprinklers and garden hoses
  • Birds: droppings on the glass and nests under the array
  • Summer heat: all of the above baked onto hot glass

Homes and businesses across the Valley

A rooftop array in a Gilbert subdivision and a commercial array in Phoenix face the same dust, but on a different scale. Homes need careful work on tile roofs. Commercial sites need scheduling around business hours and crews who can cover hundreds of panels in a visit.

Either way, the approach is the same. We use low-pressure deionized water and soft brushes, with no chemicals, and send a photo report when we finish. One-time and recurring service are both available.

Commercial

Questions we get asked

Which Arizona season is worst for solar panels?

Monsoon season. Dust storms followed by light rain leave a mud film that bakes on in the heat.

Does hard water hurt solar panels?

Hard water leaves mineral spots that block light. That is why we clean only with deionized water.

Do you clean commercial solar arrays?

Yes, from small storefronts to large multi-building arrays.

Do you service all of Arizona?

We are based in Mesa and serve the East Valley and Phoenix metro. Outside that, call and we will tell you straight.

Is one-time cleaning available?

Yes. You can book a single cleaning or join the Care Plan for twice-yearly visits.
