About how many panels?

What every solar cleaning includes

  • Water-fed soft-bristle brush cleaning, never a pressure washer on your panels
  • Deionized water that dries spot-free with no soap or chemicals
  • Removal of dust film, bird droppings and baked-on monsoon grime
  • Careful footing on Spanish tile, flat and shingle roofs
  • Visual check for cracked glass, loose wiring and nesting under the array
  • Before-and-after photo report sent by text
  • Residential rooftops and larger commercial arrays

Why it matters in Arizona

Dust, wind and bird activity coat panels faster here than almost anywhere. A dirty array can lose 3-5% of its output, dirt creates hot spots that wear cells out faster, and the drop is slow enough that most homeowners only notice it on the utility bill.

Rain does not fix it. A light shower turns dust into a mud film and leaves mineral spots behind. Garden-hose water does the same. Deionized water has the minerals taken out, so it rinses clean and dries without spotting.

No pressure on panels

High pressure can force water past panel seals and void a warranty. On solar we use low-pressure, pure water only.

No chemicals

Soaps leave residue that attracts more dust. Pure water and a soft brush are all the glass needs.

Eyes on your roof

While we are up there we look for cracked glass, loose wiring and pigeons moving in underneath.

How pricing works

Solar cleaning is priced by the number of panels. Roof pitch, height and access can change the price, and we tell you that up front. Your first clean is $199, then regular visits are priced per panel.

Questions we get asked

How often should I clean my solar panels in Arizona?

Twice a year for most homes, more often near construction, farmland or heavy bird activity.

Will cleaning void my panel warranty?

Not the way we do it. We never pressure-wash panels. We use only deionized water and a soft brush, with no chemicals.

Doesn't rain clean the panels?

Not really. Rain washes off some loose dust but leaves dirt and water spots behind, which still block sunlight.

Do you walk on Spanish tile roofs?

Yes, carefully. Our crew is used to tile roofs across the East Valley and works from the safest footing on every job.

Do I need to be home?

No. We need roof access and a working outdoor spigot. The photo report comes by text when we finish.

Do you clean commercial systems?

Yes. We clean everything from a small residential rooftop to large commercial arrays across several buildings.
